Grand Opening and Open House
The Dragon fencing Academy had its Grand Opening on Saturday January 21st, 2006 It was a beautiful day with a light frosting of snow in the morning and turning into a bright warm sunny winter day. Over 100 friends, family, and guests attended the Grand Opening and Open House. There was a traditional Chinese Lion Dance with 2 lions performing from the Northern Legs Southern Fists Kung Fu Club, fencing demonstrations and workshops. A dim sum buffet, refreshments and champagne were served to celebrate this special occasion. With over 50 registrations on that day, it was a successful event making it a symbolic and monumental beginning to the Dragon Fencing Academy, with good fortune, prosperity and longevity to come.
