BEGINNER
LESSONS
"Learn to
Fence" Beginner - Level 1 Course (8 weeks)

A quick and easy 8 week session
for those who have never fenced before

- 60 minute lessons (8 hours of total
instruction time)

No previous
experience required

Foil will be taught

Youth, teen,
adult, and family (parent and child) groups

All fencing equipment
is provided for use (mask, jacket, plastron, glove,
weapons and lame)

Learn basic
stances, footwork, swordplay - attacks and defences, sparring
with electric scoring machines.

Join in anytime - on
going lessons flexible days and times
-
A separate set of
indoor use only non-marking gym shoes, long gym pants, and a t-shirt is
required
Beginner -
Level 2 Course (8 weeks)
- A second
course continuing from Level 1 course

Must have
completed the Beginner Level 1 course

Foil will be the
main emphasis with an introduction to Epée and Sabre.

Refine the
beginner 1 basics plus learn how to referee a bout and spar with
electric scoring machines
